The Saltford Festival has become a village tradition and is now in its fifth incarnation with over 80 events on offer over 9 days, starting on 8 June 2019.
For this Festival we are excited to welcome a Food Festival, a Taste of France Evening, the Greatest Showman sing-a-long community cinema, a Wine & Cheese Evening, the Heritage Centre being open, a Treasure Hunt, a Grand Raffle and a Caribbean Evening all for the first time. This is in addition to tried and tested events included, a Murder Mystery, a Quiz, Hannah Wedlock and the Blue Notes Jazz evening, 5 walks, daily Lunchtime Talks, Open Gardens, dancing, photographic and short story competitions and lots of over-eating! Not forgetting the ever popular Scarecrows which this year will have a sporty theme. Also making a long awaited return is the very popular Taste of Saltford evening.
The Festival will conclude with the Old Village Day when we close the High Street and have a great party, enjoying a vibrant street market, entertainment and refreshments. This will be followed by a wonderful finale at the Bird in Hand.
