Annabelle Padwick is the founder of ‘Life at No.27’, National Growing for Wellbeing Week and until recently, was a Wallingford allotment holder. Annabelle is also proud to be an Ambassador for Thrive, the UK National Charity that changes life through gardening. Her website, www.lifeatno27.com explains that Life at No.27 is an Oxfordshire based social organisation built with passion at its core and designed to change lives, using the power of gardening to support anyone struggling with isolation, mental and physical ill health.
Local to Wallingford, Annabelle sees gardening as therapeutic having experienced an array of mental health struggles over the years. Growing her own produce and cut flowers has been her go to for positivity and life transformation. She is now a successful horticultural therapist, freelance writer, speaker and radio personality, promoting the magic of gardening and inspiring more people particularly the younger generation to put down their phones and pick up a spade!
