Join the Friends of the Vale & Downland Museum on a trip to
The Witney Blanket Hall with a Tour, followed by a pre-ordered lunch. After lunch we will then journey on to Filkins, to the Cotswold Woollen Weavers where a talk has been arranged.
It is planned to leave Seesen Way, Wantage at 10.15am to arrive in Witney for an 11am tour. After the tour we will have our pre-ordered lunch. The coach will then take us on to Filkins and the Cotswold Woollen Weavers for a talk, you will then be free to wander around the 18th century building and visit the shop and/or the cafe for a cup of tea.
Hopefully we will be back in Wantage between 4.30 – 5pm.
